Leland Honeyman Jr.
Racing Is All I've Known
I began racing at four years old. Beginning with off-road trophy kart (three championships), I moved to go-karts by age seven with five championships. I switched into Bandoleros at the age of 10, crowned as the 2017 National Champion along with four track and state championships.
I proceeded into legend cars with a runner-up in the Winter Series championship. Since 2018, I’ve raced pro late models, super late models, limited late models, and late model stocks. In 2021, I received the runner-up to the Carolina Pro Late Model championship scoring three poles and multiple top-five finishes. In the ARCA Menards Series East the following year, I earned one pole and three top-fives in just eight races.
Since then, I’ve made starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Alpha Prime Racing.
In 2024, I raced my rookie season full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Youngs Motorsports driving their No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro.
Now, in 2025, I’ve teamed up with Cope Family Racing driving the No. 70 Chevrolet Camaro through various races across this year’s Xfinity Series schedule.
My Mission & Vision
My mission is to make it into the NASCAR racing industry, God provides me with everything I have in racing but I would not be able to do it without my dad and my fans.
I am going to take full advantage of any opportunity God provides for me to advance as far as I can in NASCAR racing.
